Background:
Client was in the beginning phases launching a new start-up company and needed brand design, package design and a web presence to facilitate eCommerce. Also needed help building and managing design components for seed funding pitch such as pitch-deck and presentation materials to present to investors.
Research:
Collection of user stories which include: surveys and questionnaires, interviews, blog articles, statistical findings, persona profiles, product interaction.
Competitive Analysis:
Direct Competitors such as Kimberly Clark, Procter & Gamble, Lola, and Femly.
Indirect Competitors were prepared users, homemade kits.
Opportunities:
Create the brand name and brand identity.
Created the package design for the product as well as display box.
Create a great user experience when interacting with the product.
Create a branded ecommerce experience for gathering product and company information, lead generation, contact communication, marketing initiatives, blogging, and completing online B to C orders.
Create branded presentation material for investment pitches and marketing.
Challenges:
For packaging it was finding the best optimal and efficient packaging. Making sure all items could fit in the tightest space available while making it easy to use. Packaging had to be designed so users were able to clearly see what the product was and contained since this was new to the market.
Outcome:
Company has generated a lot of excitement and has been selling items through the online store. Was one chosen as a winner in the Northwest Arkansas(NWA) Scale Challenge pitch competition in 2020. Web app has been converting online B to C sales.
